So... it’s that time of year again... our Churches Together in Whitchurch Lent lunches have ‘arrived’!
As you can see, there are 5, each on a Thursday in Lent, from 12 noon to 2pm. Four are hosted by each of our town’s churches and the last by the Christian Aid Committee. All proceeds go to Christian Aid.
These are enjoyed by many - a delicious simple soup-plus-extras lunch, in convivial company and all in aid of a good cause. Do come, and spread the word amongst friends and family too - all are most welcome!
Calling all Beacon People, re our lunch on 12th March... if you can offer any help at all, please do contact Rosalyn ASAP. Extra hands are still needed, whether on the day, making a soup beforehand or donating various food items, so please do get in touch. (And my thanks to the generous souls already on board.)
