Our young people

It’s great that families can worship together. We welcome families, and we seek to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for families to join us on Sundays. The whole church worships together for the first part of each meeting prior to children  moving to their own groups.
Periodically we have ‘All-Age-Worship’ when we intentionally seek to offer a service relevant to all ages.

Beacon operates a robust Safeguarding Policy (which covers vulnerable adults as well as children). All those working with children and young people have completed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

Our Sunday groups

Creche

For the first part of our Sunday worship, a Creche area is provided at the side of the worship area. If necessary, staff will take babies and younger children to our creche room during the course of our meeting.

Sunday school

4-11 year olds with age appropriate Bible teaching, crafts and games run by a team of committed helpers.

Our Weekday groups

The BEA Club (KS2: ages 7-11 years)

BEA Club is extended to include a two or three morning ‘holiday activity’ during some of the school holidays.
